My DFTBA tattoo design (first draft)

Since my new video isn’t uploading, I figured I could give you all something else to see. Yay!

I’ve had my mind made up for a while now about what my next tattoo would be. It’s the letters DFTBA, which stand for “Don’t Forget To Be Awesome.”

The idea for DFTBA originally came from a tattoo, believe it or not. John Green, an author and YouTube vlogger, was out with his friend and noticed the letters on her arm. She said that it was a daily reminder to try and be the best person and human that she could. That was a few years ago, and since then it’s become a well-known saying online.

There are a few simple designs that come up if you Google, “DFTBA tattoo,” but I didn’t want to do something simple. I wanted a script that almost made the letters look like a design (or maybe an ambigram?) instead of simple letters.

This is just the first draft that I made. What do you think? Could it be improved? What would you change?

"I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not fuck, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking - If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane."
